== Overview == Fort Amanda, located in [[Auglaize County]], Ohio, was a key military supply base during the War of 1812. Although the original fort structures no longer remain, the site is marked by a monument and a cemetery. Over the years, numerous witnesses have reported the appearance of a ghostly log cabin, often accompanied by flickering lights and vanishing before it can be approached. This recurring visual anomaly has given rise to the legend of a "phantom house" at the former fort site.
