== Haunting / Legend Summary == Reports from staff, volunteers, and visitors suggest that Auglaize Village is the site of various unexplained occurrences. These include: * Apparitions and shadow figures * Audible footsteps in empty buildings and along wooded trails * Voices—some heard aloud and others captured on recordings * Interaction with electronic devices, such as REM-Pods * Feelings of being watched * Physical manifestations such as doors opening and closing without cause Notably, the Kinner Cabin and the William Bensinger Military Museum have been the site of specific incidents, including the sighting of a dark silhouette on a staircase and disembodied voices in German. A significant event that may relate to the haunting is the accidental shooting death of a young girl during a 1971 event near the village’s shooting range.
